2016-17 Report on the Activities of the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer

This is a report on activities of the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) for 2016–2017. This report covers a full year of activities during the 1st Session of the 42nd Parliament, which is traditionally one of the busiest sessions for a government. A good indication of the workload handled by the PBO team is the number of reports published, as well as their size and complexity, such as the cost estimate for a national pharmacare program that was requested by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Health.
