The PBO is supported by the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer, which has approximately 40 staff members.

Staff expertise spans a wide range of areas, including economics, taxation, economic and budgetary projections, finance and parliamentary relations.

The Values and Ethics Code offers a broad range of guidance about the standards of conduct expected of employees of the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
